There is no actual fighter helicopter. The closest thing is attack helicopters such as Apache.
Around 3000-6000 they have more helicopters than jets
There are no "fighter helicopters" - helicopters have engaged in combat against each other, but there are none designed with air-to-air combat as their intended function. The current inventory includes 20 Mil Mi-25 attack/cargo helicopters (which are about to be replaced with AH-64 Apaches), 7 HAL Rudra attack helicopters (out of 38 ordered), 3 HAL Light Combat Helicopters (out of 65 ordered), over 300 variations of the Mil Mi-8 cargo helicopter (which can be armed and used as gunships).. nothing specifically designed as a "fighter" helicopter, though.

No US president was ever a prize fighter. William Howard Taft did some boxing in college.
There's no comparison between the two. They're totally different tools. This question is like "what is the advantage of a hammer over a washing machine?" Fighter jets are good if you want to fight other fighter jets or drop bombs. Helicopters are good if you want to transport personnel or supplies, observe combat or (if you have an attack helicopter) fight tanks. Helicopters and jets serve different operational requirements. Helicopters are better suited for insertion/extraction, ground support, ground attack, SAR, Anti-tank, anti-personnel roles Jets are better suited for Air Superiority, anti-installation, AWACS, reconnaissance, stealth bombing, long-haul roles
Well the Marines do have the F-18 fighter jet, so I'm going to say yes. ANS 2 -The US Marines have always had an excellent air assault divisions since end of WW2. They currently have heavily armed attack helicopters and large combat helicopters.
