I think it depends on the child. If a kid can be in a class with other kids and not either totally disrupt them or keep them from learning, then inclusion is fine and they will improve their social skills and probably find good role models.

If the kid is violent, a constant disruption, etc., than they are messing with the education of all the rest of the kids in the class. In this case, they need to be removed from the regular class.

Is there a bachelor's degree in special education?

Yes, but unfortunately there is no longer a special education degree in K-12... I know that the SUNY system definitely has a program for "Childhood with Special Education" because I have it (from SUNY GENESO).. To be certified k-12 in special education, there are a couple of graduate programs that allow you to achieve it... or, depending on which subject area you "concentrate" or "minor" in.. you can be certified to just teach that subject area in special education k-12.. hope this helps! :)

What kind of degree is needed to teach special education?

Do you capitalize special education in a sentence?

Oh, dude, you totally capitalize "Special Education" when it's used as a proper noun, like when you're talking about a specific program or department. But if you're just casually mentioning special education in general, then you don't need to capitalize it. It's like giving a fancy title to your buddy Steve - "Special Education Steve" versus just regular old Steve.
