A dress code is a rule about how to dress. People usually have them at schools,fancyrestaurants,Etc.. At schools the dress code is usually called "uniforms" and if you go to one of those schools you know what It is and I don't have to go through the whole thing explaining it to you.Happy to answer.

As of my last update, there are approximately 60 schools in Auckland that do not require uniforms. These schools may adopt a more relaxed dress code or allow students to wear their own clothes. The exact number can vary, so it's best to check with local education authorities or specific schools for the most current information.
All schools, private or public, have a dress code. Most private schools, however, require uniforms. For girls it typically consists of a dress, skirt, and/or blouse. For boys it is usually dark long trousers and a light nice shirt with tie. Some schools allow girls to wear trousers and a blazer or jacket is common for both genders.
Most high schools have a formal written dress code, although the requirements will vary greatly. Some high schools require uniforms and dictate jewelry, hair color and styles, piercings, tattoos, and accessories. Other high schools are mostly focused on banning crude and graphic clothing.
there shouldn't be :P
