An aspiring student is one who aspires to something. If the course they aspire to do happens to be one that they like then there is no reason why they should not do it. If the course they like is not going to be beneficial for the long term aspirations of the student then they should still consider it as an option. If the course they like is definitely going to harm their chances of achieving their aspirations then this does not necessarily exclude the course from the possible options.

The student should consider many factors when choosing a course and whether or not the student likes a course is not the only factor for consideration.
