I do think that high school students should be required to volunteer. Although it may seem tedious and like a chore at first, it is a valuable experience. It gives you a sense of the bigger community around you. I have friends who have volunteered at the local hospital and they say it is one of the greatest things they've ever done. My high school does have this requirement, and while I fulfilled the 50 hours required at the library, I felt compelled to do more. I volunteer for Red Cross and help clean up polluted lakes and plan benefit concerts, and I find it amazing that there are things we can do for others without compensation. Volunteering is a cleansing activity for the soul. I think it should be required because all high schoolers need that sense of giving before they go off into the real world.

yes
Yes, high school students should be required to take a course before graduation to ensure they have a well-rounded education and necessary skills for success in the future.
it depends on the state
School uniforms should not be required because they limit students' self-expression and individuality. Additionally, they can be costly for families to continuously purchase. Allowing students to choose their own clothing can also help foster a sense of autonomy and responsibility.
yes
No, Lockhart Middle School does not have a uniform policy for students. Students are not required to wear a specific uniform to school.
big brothers big sisters is a good one
"Shouldn't high school students be focused on academics rather than worrying about what to wear each day?"
I dont really think students need to wear uniform. But if a student was to ditch class, no-one would know if they went to school that day or if they stayed home.
No, it is High School Material, The book is for High School Students, and, meant for High School level readers, not 6th Graders, who are in Elementary.
The school presents students with a sheet on which to record their hours of volunteer work. The supervisor at the volunteer job signs the sheet, acknowledging the hours the student volunteered, and the student submits the sheet to the guidance counselor.
