Yeah Definately.
Not saying that everyone should do it, but it is just as important as any other subject. To me, it is like another language. Especially as kids learn it, music affects the growth of a child's brain academically, emotionally, physically and spiritually. This is also good for people because it helps develop ones personality, especially if started at a young age. Majority of kids nowadays are bored and resort to playing Video Games or being annoying. Music for some people can be a passion, and for me it definitely is. It isn't because I wanted to like music, it is because naturally I found myself wanting to learn more. I don't find myself to be the smartest person at all, but in music I have won positions in bands and scholarships. I see it more important than any other subject, in fact, more important than school. Music can be described as a sport. Learning to sing and keep rhythm develops coordination. The air and wind power necessary to blow a flute, trumpet or Saxophone promotes a healthy body.
Music is an art form. We are emotional beings and every child requires an artistic outlet. Music may be your child's vehicle of expression. Most people can't play soccer, or football at 70 or 80 years of age but they can sing. And they can play piano or some other instrument. Music is a gift you can give your child that will last their entire lives.Music is academic. For some people, this is the primary reason for providing music lessons to their children. A recent study from the University of California found that music trains the brain for higher forms of thinking. Second graders who were given music lessons scored 27% higher on proportional math and fractions tests than children who received no special instruction. Research indicates that musical training permanently wires a young mind for enhanced performance.
kids should be able to listen to classical music because it clams down the brain and blocks talking
at Yamaha or other music schools such as mac music school......
because some kids work better listening to music because when kids hear a song there brain sends signals to their nerves and from their nerves to there thinking area on their brain which helps them learn and be more succesful:)
