It depends on what type of bag, their backpack? I think they should so that they have everything there with them when they need it and they don't have to run to their locker. But I also don't think that they should be able to carry it around because they can have weapons in their backpack, and it causes serious health risks carrying a heavy backpack around.

I think every girl should be allowed to carry her purse because not every girl can tell exactly when her period is going to happen and if it happens in class you don't have time to run to your locker then to the bathroom! And they have make-up, brushes, etc in their purse that should be allowed in class. And, it's so easy to text in school with a purse(I'm a girl lol). But then again girls can also carry around weapons or drugs in their purse easily. Schools just have to be really careful with kids now, they're not all little angels, you know?. But in my school we were allowed to have a purse in class just not on the desk hehe.
