Students have enough time to do the above mentioned things. They need the days they have now to learn what they are being taught, not a three day weekend. Besides, states require students to be in school a certain number of days per year. A three day weekend would drag school out into the summer. Students need the summer break a lot more than they need three day weekends. Of course if schools go to a full year of school instead of the nine months they have now, having three day weekends might be something that should be considered.

I would say two day weekend. I, myself, is a student, middle schooler, and I think a two day is better because this way if there's any homework, I can finish it on Saturday and have a day off, which is Sunday. School will start again on Monday and so I can get a good nights rest and be prepared without worrying about anything. Plus, if we had a three day weekend, somethings that are taught in school can be forgotten and then the teacher would have to re-teach.
