It depends on you as an individual. If you feel apprehensive, or have been out of school for a length of time, you can start as a part-time student with one or two courses. There is nothing wrong in this. This will give you time to adjust to higher education, increase your confidence, etc. Then you can build up from there. The next semester you can take more course as feels comfortable to you. It's better to start slow, and build up later then to start with too much and become overwhelmed. If this is your first semester and you have not decided on a college, the community college would be a great place the start.
