You can have: a vocational or 1 year degree to become an LPN (licensed practical nurse) a 2 year ADN (associates degree-nursing) to become an RN a 4 year bachelors BSN in nursing.
Whether you need a degree or not depends on your overall career goals and objectives, and the requirements needed for that career.
An 'undergrad' is a college student who is working towards his/her Bachelors or Associates degree. Once you have received your Bachelors degree, you will work towards your Master's degree, and you will be considered a 'grad' student.
An undergrad is any person who has obtained a bachelor's degree or lower. So, if you have your associates in business for example you will be an undergrad student regardless if your in college or not.
The vocational certificate does not meet the course and credit requirements of a degree, and is typically shorter in length, very specific to a particular skill, and absent of any general education coursework.
The education requirements and job qualifications for a business plan consultant is a four year undergrad degree. In addition, a MBA is strongly recommended
To my understanding, you can get a graduate degree in anything that you want as long as you have an undergraduate degree in anything including general studies. I have an undergrad degree in counseling and I am currently getting a masters of art in early childhood education
The best undergrad degree to have would be either in psychology, sociology, or social work

Yes, it is possible to earn a master's degree with some undergrad work completed. Traditionally most people do earn a bachelors degree first and it depends if the school with accept you without the bachelors degree; however certain professions allows for it. For example in some countries you do not earn a bachelors degree in engineering, you go directly into a masters after completing the undergrad requirements. Why? because in some countries there is no such thing as a bachelors in engineering since it's a professional degree. [MsEng] Some medical schools also allow students who fulfilled most of the undergrad work to be accepted into graduate studies without the bachelor's. There is a masters degree path for executives that may not require undergrad degree called an Executive MBA. In summary, it really depends on the school to accept you without the undergrad degree and not someones personal opinion, so it is possible to do it. Many Americans are only use to the traditional educational paths, but there are many different paths in education. It's also common to list your highest degree obtained on your resume.
