Almost all 4-year colleges have a Physics department. The most famous ones are probably at Princeton (where Einstein taught), Stanford and Cal Tech (California Institute of Technology).
Physics is taught in almost every U.S. college, including 2-year colleges, even if they don't have a Physics department. Many (most?) colleges require that students take at least one Physics course. This is an excellent idea, since many human activities (including all sports, and driving) are really just applied Physics.
