California State Student Association was created in 1958.
There are a total of thirty-three universities in the California education system. This system is divided into two separate systems: California state which has twenty-three universities and University of California which has ten universities.
For starters, private universities are more expensive compared with California state schools. Cal state schools are publicly funded while private ones are not.

There are not very many options for tuition-free universities in California. Many people join the U.S. military who pay for tuition and also offer grants. There are no longer any free state universities located in the state of California.

Of the 22 California State Universities in the state system, currently only two offer international business as an undergraduate major: Fullerton and San Diego. Both are set to be impacted by financial cuts for the 2013-2014 school year.

So, if you lived in Ohio but wanted to attend college in Kentucky, you would be an out of state student. Residency requirements vary in each State but many require you to live within the State for anywhere from 6 months to a year before you could get the benefits of being a resident in that state. In State universities, one of the benefits of residency is lower cost tuition.
There are several Division I universities in the state of California that participate in college basketball. A few of these schools are; UCLA, USC, Stanford University and California University.
