It contains sugar that will cause your teeth to decay. The sugar also provides calories that are not useful to your body. It is very easy to drink a lot of calories in a short amount of time. If the soda contains an artificial sugar, in my opinion, it is even more detrimental. Artificial sugar is made with chemicals. There maybe no calories, but the addition of a non natural material into your body is not a good thing in my book. There are other alternatives to softdrinks if you have a sweet tooth. You can make a healthier version by adding a natural fruit juice, with real vitamins, like orangejuice and a seltzer. white Grape Juice is a healthy juice, as well as pomagrante. I have cut out drinking softdrinks for a year now, and have lost 10 pounds. I was drinking a can of regular soda, just a can a day. I now drink iced green tea. I find it is tastier than plain water, and it provides me with antioxicidents.
