disadvantage is the older kids pick on the freshman. Bonus chance to get laid :D. You learn some cool stuff and you can meet new people The advantages of going to high school are meeting new people and trying new things. Plus, your growing up and your getting more mature. You can't forget, you get to drive in high school. The disadvantages are leaving your friends, and harder work. There is not alot of disadvantages of going to high school, but some advice is, good luck and give it your all.

The advantages of going to college straight from high school are that the student will not have time to lose his or her motivation for studying, him or her will not lose time in pursuing a degree and the chance of the student not going to college at all is at a minimal because usually more time off = less motivation.

Disadvantages are that some time off may be beneficial to some students who do not know what they want to go to college for; this time can be used for job shadowing and research on majors and careers. Having a clear plan going into college can save money because it helps the student graduate in a timely manner through better planning. Also, students who do not have adequate funds to pay for college can help lessen the burden of working and going to school at the same time by saving up some money first.
