The pros and cons of a 'pay-to-play' fee:

Pros-

• The school will get more money.
• less people will play/tryout, thus, others will have longer playing times.
• In the case that the school is having a 'pay-to-play' fee for jerseys, or new sports outfits, they could afford them.
• In the case that the school is having a 'pay-to-play' fee for equipment, they could afford them.

Cons-

• Less people would play the sport.
• Less people will be active - getting out of shape is bad.
• If the school does not meet the amount of money they need, the school might cut the sport.
• (For some reason) If you have to quit the sport, you wont get your money back.
