Phi Mu stands for "sisters eternal." The secret handshake involves grasping hands, extending the middle and pointer finger, and squeezing 3 times I believe it is. At initiation the girls are asked to wear a white dress with a slip underneath. The "big" sisters help the girls change into robes as a symbol that your big sister is helping you out. They wear these crazy ropes around their shoulders and chests in addition to the white robes. During the initiation process the older members tell the new members all the secrets of the sorority, they write them down and whisper them into the girls ears and then rip up and burn the secrets. Each girl has to kneel down and say a pledge. The symbol they often use, the quatrefoil, is symbolic of four hearts molded into one.

Phi Mu is the second oldest greek organization for women founded in 1852 at Weselyan College in Macon Georgia. Phi Mu is known as a "fraternity" because the word "sorority" was not commonly used back then. Today there are about 120 collegiate chapters with about 150,000 active and alumnae members in the United States. Every Phi Mu sister strives to uphold the ideals of love, honor, and truth in her life. Not to mention that all Phi Mu sisters are beautiful, intelligent, and amazing women. Phi Mu's colors are rose (pink) and white, and their mascot is the Lion, Sir Fidel.
It is a men's music fraternity
That is for the sisters to know and for pledges to find out.
