During a job interview, you need to look the prospective employer in the eye, but not in a glaring or staring way. People who look at the floor, walls, ceiling, etc., are not usually considered to be honest and forthright.

Be pleasant, but not giggly or too chatty. Also, a firm handshake, for women as well as men, is important.

Dress appropriately. Even if the job is in a casual atmosphere, such as a clerk in a convenience store, you need to dress neatly, and be well groomed.

Answer their questions honestly, and without saying things like "um, you know, like", etc. And be yourself.

If they ask you what your weaknesses are, be honest, but without overplaying your weakness, or you will seem as if you are your own worst critic. And that may come across as a lack of self confidence.
