There is no need to re-enter high school. There might be some alternative schools that would take you, but no one is going to look at your GPA from high school at this point. You can probably redeem yourself by doing well in college courses for adults, which include remedial courses in grade school subjects onward. High schools often have a maximum age for entry, but colleges usually do not. Some colleges are specifically designed for people who have interrupted their education and wish to return, and offer courses in the evening. Getting really good grades in some college courses will be what jobs and further colleges will look at in the future, and so you will be redeemed, even if you want to apply for a non-traditional scholarship. :)
They aren't astronauts when they are in college. Typically, once they graduate from college they enter graduate school in specialty areas, or go into the military flight programs. There is no specific degree or courses that equate to being an astronaut. (umm... you actually need a bachelor's degree in engineering, biological science, physical science or maths)
