Yes you should call your teacher, teacher and tell her what your name is because she might not know who it is, because if your absent she will not know who you are.
Condohh
Okay, skipping school once is understandable. But all of the time is not okay, and if your absent over 7 days without an excuse, they can make you go to court. They only way you can skip school for long periods of time is to get a court order and you need 3 solid defense's and reasons why. Also, when you skip school they call your parents to tell them that you werent there. Hence the "They call your parents" Theres always a downside to skipping school and cutting classes.
If you are a student, your teacher should let you know when special days are. You can also ask someone, either another student or at the office. If you are a parent, you can call the school.
From a student: They call the police, and from there the police can decide whether to give you a ticket or not.
acculturation
no you gotta tell them can i call my mom or dad to see if your allow to answer it
The only excused absenses from school are for being sick or maybe a death in the family. There would have to be a doctors note given to the principal or the parents would have to call the school to tell them about the family problem.
in primary schools a child is called 'écolier / écolière'. In junior high school he/she is 'un collégien, une collégienne' (from the word collège for these schools). senior high school is called 'le lycée' and the student there is 'un lycéen, une lycéenne'. A student past that point (in university or college) is called 'un étudiant, une étudiante'.
You call a 7th grader a junior high student
