It means "you are" "Eres" is from the verb "ser" (which means "to be") and is in the "tu" form which is "you" (singluar). There are two verbs for "to be" in spanish - "ser" and "estar". there are many different uses but very basic rule is that "ser" is used to describe something permenant, whilst "estar" is used for something which changes. example: Eres listo/a = you are intelliget ¿Estás listo/a? = are you ready?
