Aloysius is "Alabhaois" in Irish. Alabhaois has no meaning it's just a phonetic translation.

Aloysius is a Latinized version of Luigi made up by the Catholic Church when they were canonizing St Aloysius Gonzaga. Luigi comes from Louis which comes from Clovis which is similar to the Germanic name Hludwig. It is only an Irish name in that it is sometimes used by Irish and Irish Americans.
