In the school systems within American, a grade of a letter B, is also a grade of 80 percent. In English school systems, they use similar percentages, but different letters. For instance in American a letter grade of an A is equivalent to an E. (E means excellent.) The letter grade of a B is the equivalent to VG. (VG means very good.)
