Basically what they do is they travel with the team to your away games and stay with you at your home games. They carry around a notebook and have to record down
all the players of your managing team and the opposing team. Write down who makes a shot and if they miss or not. Write down all fould and rebounds.
Also, when someone gets hurt or they need a substitute tell the buzzer man you need a substitute and will have to pause the game for a minute or so.
Also be ready to fill up the water jugs. Bring in the equipment, all the balls etc.
It's a pretty cool job,not hard if you pay attention :)
