In maths, a sample is a group of things (people, books, pets etc...) randomly selected from a population (of people, books, pets etc...), which can be used to draw conclusions about the entire population. Sampling is very useful, since in most cases is it not possible to collect data from an entire population.
Technically it is a "random subset of the population".
A sample space is the set of all possible outcomes from an experiment..
A biased sample is a Statistical Sample in which the sample is biased or have more samples of the things that is being influenced.
the space used to show a sample promblem.
convenience sampling consists of two or more sample events.
With a good sample, the sample mean gets closer to the population mean.
A piece of a whole.

It is the population.
In math, a survey typically refers to a set of questions or measurements conducted to gather information about a population or a sample. This data is then analyzed to draw conclusions or make inferences about the larger group.
The sample mean may differ from the population mean, especially for small samples.
The variance decreases with a larger sample so that the sample mean is likely to be closer to the population mean.
