The best place is where you origninally took the exams - They have to re-register you and pay for your test position. Having seen your grade its in their best interest as they are funded for passes achieved for them to get you through the resit

You go in Google and type up free GCSE exam papers and type up which subject for example: Urdu, Maths and English and ETC.
They will either allow you to resit the exam(s) if they are early on or they will count your predicted grade and mock results.
Well... Grade "A" Maths could mean that you had used completely solid reasoning and a minimalistic approach to the proof that you were QEDing. Or when i last did a state exam in Maths it was my "A" Levels divided into "Pure Maths". and "Applied Maths".
