The answer depends on the grading scale. Usually grading scales are 100-90 = A, 89-80 = B, 79-70 = C, 69-60 = D and 59 or below = F. Pluses and minuses are given to the letter grade if the score is in the higher or lower range of the spectrum (e.g. 77 and up is a +, 73 and below is a -). If the grading scale follows the typical ranges, then a 60 out of 100 would be a C-
D-

[(100x60) + (Tx40)]/100=Average, where T is you average on the other 40% of your grade. Example: your grade average is 90 before the test. You get a 100 on the big test. [(100x60) + 90x40)]/100 = [6000 + 3600]/100 = 96
It is either a C or D, but if the teacher is "hard" than its a F.
60 percent would normally be a grade of D.
percentage of correct answers = 60%(20 - 8)/20 * 100% = 12/20 * 100% = 60% In most school systems that translates to F - for FAIL
If there are 10 questions, then each question will be worth 10 points to make a total grade of 100. Therefore, if you got 6 questions correct (10 - 4 = 6) then your grade will be a 60 (6 times 10)
78% is considered a C. Normally the letter grade scale is that an A is 90-100, B is 80-89, C a 70-79, D is 60-69 and F is anything below 60.
60 percent would normally be a grade of D.
100 percent of 60 = 60100% of 60= 100%/100% * 60= 60
32 out of 60 is 53.33... (repeating) %. The grade which this represents will depend on grade boundaries which, in turn, will depend on the standardising procedure.
60 percent is usually a D.
