Most people feel that a grade of "A" or "B" - 3.5 to 4.0 if you are using a 4-point scale - is a "good" grade. Truthfully, if you are doing your very best to study and complete your work, then whatever grade you get is a good grade. The only problem with grades is when you don't try, or slack off and quit working your best. If you try your hardest, and your grades are somewhere in the middle ("C" or "D"), then don't beat yourself up because you are not smart - there are many different kinds of "smart" and lots of people are not school-smart, but are smart in some other way! Speaking as a former teacher, I am proud of all of my students who worked hard, even the ones who just barely passed my class.
