Well, in my interdisciplinary unit in school, we studied gold. For social studies we studied the history of gold and gold throughout ancient times. For English we studied how gold was related to pop culture and then we teamed up and in groups wrote a rap about gold and its role throughout pap culture. In math we converted karats and densities of gold using simple equations and for science we did background research about gold, learned about gold mining and then made a tile and a density lab where we tested if an unknown mineral was gold or not. It was a great unit. Hope this helps.
