College degrees usually follow this pattern:
2 years = Associates
4 years = Bachelors
6 years = Masters
10 years = Doctorate
This is the general pattern that is followed, though some college students may take a longer or shorter amount of time, such as five years for a Bachelors Degree.
Some colleges even offer programs that allow for reaching a degree in less than the normal amount of time. These colleges are usually specific to a field and, as a result, are able to focus on the subjects in that field, instead of packing a students schedule with classes that have nothing to do with what they are majoring in.
