Mainly in Japan, Juku schools or Gakushu Juku (sometimes known as cram schools) are private after hours and weekend private schools students are sent to to gain additional education after normal school hours. The hope is to further the student's education in order to make them perform better in both regular education testing and to prepare for future secondary level testing.

This answer is based on anecdotal evidence (the kids at the japanese high school I went to, the other schools in the area, and my friend's schools), because I don't think there's an official figure, but it was roughly 70%-80%. Juku helps you prepare for junior high/high school/university entrance exams, which pretty much determine the path of your life over there, so it's used extensively. As getting into a good university is seen as the most important thing you can do over there, the percent of kids attending juku probably goes up to the mid-nineties once the kids are in their final year of high school.
