Many people have so-called "splinter" personalities. The trick in a case like this is, first understand that you can't get rid of them by trying to "get rid of them." They are not separate beings. The key is to re-integrate them into yourself. Rather than push them away, embrace them, love them, and understand them as a part of you. Only then will you start to re-assemble your shattered self. While I do not have any kind of medical degree, I lived with someone who had a thousand different sub-personalities who would "take over" at certain times. I led him through this process, and the splits, splinters, what have you, all re-integrated within a two-month period. People who suffer from psychological problems require expert/qualified advice from competent and authorized psychologists. They should never take advise from incompetent individuals like witch-doctors and religious neophytes.
