Im going to assume the code you have given is PO740 on the obd2 scan tool? PO740 is a TCC circuit malfunction

yes i use obd2 on all sporatages and it works fine, if your getting an error make sure you put the ignition key in the on but not cranking position. then touch the read button on the code reader. Do not try and read with engine running.
