Missed opportunities to earn income
Tuition varies widely from one country to another, and within one country, from one college to another.
Resident tuition usually costs less than non-resident tuition. Sometimes resident tuition is half the cost of non-resident tuition. In order to qualify for residency, you have to provide proof that you've been a resident of the state for at least one or two years depending on the school.
It really depends on the university as well as where it is located. If you are in state tuition or out of state tuition. You should e-mail the college that you are interested in and ask.
You DO know there is more than one college in Florida?
The tuition fees at Dr. Carlos Lanting's college will vary depending on the program of study. According to research they are affordable, but one is recommended to contact the school admissions office for more information about the cost of study for a specific program.
one covers all college expenses, while the other covers only tuition
Community college
One covers all college expenses, while the other covers only tuition.
It depends largely on the specific college or university. However, the approximate cost for a program of study as a registered nurse is up to $20,000 at a community college (Associates degree). It is not the tuition that makes it expensive as much as it is the clinical fees involved. For example, at one community college I know of, the tuition per semester is about 1,400. However, the clinical fees for nursing are $4,000 plus per semester. At a four year college or university (bachelor's degree), the cost can be doubled plus.
Tuition and fees vary and are particular to each college and university. However, remember, the tuition is one thing, but the clinical fees are another. You have to inquire about both or you will not get the entire picture of what it will really cost. Typically, the lowest tuition and fees are within the community college system, but that is for the associate degree. Still, you can cut the cost by getting the associate degree first where you will become a registered nurse. Then finish the last two years at a four year institution to obtain the BSN. Because you have completed the clinical aspect already, then you just have to be concerned about the tuition at the four year institution.
