Semen is the fluid which is ejaculated at the end of the sexual act of a male.

The primary components in semen are sperm cells, prostaglandins, citric acid, enzymes, amino acids, flavins, proteins, Vitamin C, phosphorylcholine, zinc, prostrate specific antigen, acid phosphatase, mucus and sialic acid.

Semen acts as a medium to carry the sperm to the female genital tract.
