医 /i/ is the main kanji for 'medicine, medical, doctor'. In nouns it is used as prefix mostly and adds the meaning of 'medical' to the kanji complex. 医科 /i ka/ for example means 'medical science'. If you have to use it seperately you can use 薬剤の /ya ku zai no/ in which case 薬剤 /ya ku zai/ is the Japanese word for 'medicine, drug(s)' and の /no/ is a particle that makes modifiers such as adjectives. 'Yakuzai no' literally translates 'medicine-related'. Another word 医薬 /i ya ku/ can also be used in the same sense as 'yakuzai', which plus a の, makes 医薬の /i ya ku no/ and has same attributes as 'yakuzai no'.

(All the 'i' vowels in phonetic helps are pronounced just like the alphabet 'e', as in inside , not as in iron)
