∙ 16y agoSome activity that is outside normal class hours and not part of the defined curriculum. For example, extra-curricular activity for a college music major might be attending a concert for grade.
Basically anything that you do not do for a grade or class could be considered an extra curricular activity. Some examples: football team, Future Business Leaders of America, Golf team, Debate team, poetry club, etc.

∙ 13y agoExtra curricular activities are educational activities that you do in your spare time. If I did research on WikiReference at home, and it wasn't a project, that would be an extra curricular activity. But if the teacher made us do it in school, it would be a school activity.
