JOseph Putnam, Ann Putnam's uncle, gets Susanna ENglish to tell this man the girls have been lying, so thtat the man could write a letter to the judge. Flashback over, she is back at the church, and while they are forgiving Ann Putnam, Ann comes to Susanna's pew to ask for forgiveness. Susanna feels bad for Ann because of all that the lying has done to her life. She will never marry or have children. But still, Susanna wonders what ever happens to Dorcas Good, who was released from prison, or Tituba who was sold to slavery?
