When you give energy to water in the form of Heat, all water molecules does not receive equal energy. Some water molecules have more energy than average energy of water molecules in a container, they will escape in to air in the form of Evaporation.

When you closed the container with a plate, the evaporated molecules condensed in to water droplets after hitting no of walls in container (no chance for escape) and enter in to container again.

After some time some molecules are evaporating and some molecules are condensing, at a certain stage the number of molecules that get evaporated becomes equal to the number of molecules that are condensing.

This is the point of Saturation. Air also takes some finite amount of humidity in to it, it depends on ambient air temperature.

What is the relationship between evaporation and precipitation?

Evaporation is the process where water changes from liquid to vapor, typically from the Earth's surface into the atmosphere. Precipitation is when water vapor in the atmosphere condenses and falls back to the Earth's surface in the form of rain, snow, sleet, or hail. Together, evaporation and precipitation are part of the water cycle, where water is continuously circulated between the Earth's surface and the atmosphere.

The relationship between evaporation and humidity?

The relationship between humidity and precipitation is that humidity the amount of moisture in the air and precipitation is any type of water that falls from the sky.

What is the balance between precipitation and evaporation in a particular are is called what?

Humidity

What is the relationship between evaporation and precipitation rates and salinity?

Evaporation increases salinity in bodies of water by leaving behind dissolved salts, while precipitation decreases salinity by diluting the water. Higher evaporation rates in a body of water can lead to increased salinity over time, while frequent precipitation events can help maintain or lower the salinity levels.

How does water move between the hydrosphere and atomosphere?

evaporation, condensation, and precipitation.

What is the relationship for runoff abstractions and precipitation?

Runoff abstractions refer to the portion of precipitation that is prevented from entering a water body due to interception, infiltration, or evaporation. It is essentially the amount of water that does not contribute to surface runoff. The relationship between runoff abstractions and precipitation is that as precipitation increases, the amount of water available for abstractions also increases, potentially impacting the overall runoff volume.

Do you oceans gain earliest water considering evaporation and precipitation together?

On a long term between evaporation and condensation an equilibrium exist.

Does precipitation increase as temperature increase?

Generally, warmer temperatures can lead to increased evaporation, which can in turn lead to more moisture in the atmosphere. This increased moisture can result in more frequent or intense precipitation events, but the relationship between temperature and precipitation can be influenced by various factors, including geography and weather patterns.

What is the relationship between temperature and evaporation?

The higher the temp, the higher the evaporation rate.

Compare the differences in evporation and precipitation over earths oceans and land How are they related?

The difference between evaporation and precipitation is that evaporation occurs at the top while precipitation happens at the bottom of the surface. They are related since they all deal with heating liquids into vapour and released into the atmosphere.
