What do you call someone who is like your son, but not your son..I'm writing a backstory for my character..who happens to have a sire (a vampire who turned you into a vampire) who thinks of my character in this way? Preferably one word……..please help..I’m trying to translate it into Japanese..could also just be the Japanese word for it..also not in the Japanese pictograms (?), but in the English alphabet..
