What kind of degree would it take to become an inventor?

Becoming an inventor is not an easy task.it depends on the field u are interested in the most..,we think we found out something but when we check about it in the net, we ll find that its actually an old model or something.,

so generally it relies on how talented u are and how are u using the theory in the application.

Some inventors did not even complete grade school when they began, others had multiple doctorate degrees before they began. I have even heard of some inventors without any formal education at all. There is no fixed educational requirement, the only requirement to be an inventor is to have a unique and novel idea about how to do something. You don't even have to patent it (unless you want to consider marketing or licencing a product using the idea and want protection from competition, and are prepared to pay for lawyers to defend those patent rights). Some inventors never patent their ideas but market products using it anyway, instead they protect them as trade secrets by simply never telling anyone the complete idea and depending that the secret can not be deduced by a competitor reverse engineering their product.
