It depends on where you live! For example, gymnastics is not very well-known or popular in the Midwest, especially in states that don't have gymnastics teams affiliated with schools. However, everyone gets a bit excited about gymnastics when the Summer Olympics roll around, after watching it on TV, and interest peaks then.

of course the olympic gymnastics people choose its teams fairly!
Men don't compete in the Olympics for rhythmic gymnastics
Private schools. I attend a private school and we have compulsory Saturday sport. This means that at the start of the year we choose a Summer and Winter sport and on Saturdays we play a match against other Private schools. We are put into teams based on our abilities so you can see it as a fun time with friends or a serious sporting commitment. Plus each team has a coach/teacher who knows about the sport they are taking. We also do training for 2 periods (about 1.5hours) a week. Plus we have compulsory PE classes once a week up until year 10 and can do PE as a VCE subject.
as of the early 2000's there are none. It is only division I and III. This was done because the schools that had a D2 program were primarialy ivy and private schools, and there simply werent enough teams to make money. When the NCAA closed down the D2 programs, schools had the option of going to D1 or D3.
group gymnastics is when you are on a team commpetting other teams
No. They are far too expensive, and many teams don't own their own stadium. They do, however, often own a training ground in a more private area of their town.
It is much harder to make a public school team than private school because the private school has less people to try out so you have a better chance to make private school than public. There is also the aspect that many "all-star" players think that playing for a big high school will help them get looked at by colleges, so private schools are easier to make.
Acrofitness is non-competitive, street tumbling. There is no beam, bars or vault, and no spring floor. So it is gymnastics pretty much. Also there are teams. those teams's instructors will make up a routine for them, then that team (Along with other teams. There are several.) Will go to schools to show kids the fitness is fun! Acrofitness is only in Mooresville North Carolina and Conneticut.
They tend to be better because they are private institutions so people must pay money to go to their schools, unlike public schools. Thus they have the money to hire nice sports coaches and afford better practice facilities.A:In some places they are. In other places Public school sports teams are better than Catholic schools.
