The DBQ should have 5 paragraphs but the FRQs should be 4-5 depending on how much time you have left.
hello, this is a person who took US History AP exam this year. I think i got 4 for DBQ and 3 for both FRQs... I skipped about 20 questions in MC. If there's a curve for the MC scores, how many MC questions should i get right to pass the exam?

There are 80 multiple choice questions, 2 FRQ's(fact based questions), and 1 DBQ(document question.) If you are taking the APUSH Exam then I wish you the best of luck! :)

Once again, a free response question doesn't have a correct or incorrect answer, as long as the answer given is supported by facts from the period, and, in the DBQ section, is backed up by the documents. An answer which is purely opinion will ALWAYS be wrong.
There are a lot of AP US History review books. Here is the top one entitled The Insiders Complete Guide to AP US History : The Essential Content. This is recommended by REA pep teachers.
Document Based Question. They will give you 8 documents, and you must also reference outside information. Be sure to stick to the time period, and answer the question asked. They would like you to encompass at least six of the documents given, and cite more outside information than that of the documents. Yes, there are two types of history that are AP courses. They are: World history and US history. The AP Exam is 3 hours and 5 minutes long. The periods covered are Pre-Colombian to 1789 (20%), 1790 to 1914 (45%), and 1915 to present (35%). The curriculum is based mostly on social and cultural history, although there are economic topics as well.
