A rule of thumb when looking for credible sources for a research paper is: 1. Looking for a website that cannot be edited by just anyone (e.g. Wikipedia). 2. Looking for a website that ends with .org or .edu. (.com isn't as safe as the two) 3. Looking at spelling on a website, as well as grammar. Look at who reported or wrote the item and find out their experience and expertise in the area they are writing or reporting. Look for more than one source for the same information.
