You do not get a RN (Registered Nurse) degree. To become a RN you earn an associate degree in nursing then take the state nursing exam. If you pass you are then a RN.

You can also get a 4 year degree in nursing, which will make you even more marketable. Then, you would be an RN with a BSN. You still have to take the state nursing exam.
