~ Hi there! Im a IB freshman at SCHS right now! Coincidentally, I went to Williams IB MS too! Your daughter shouldn't worry at all. With grades like that, shes guaranteed acceptance. I had B's in algebra in 7th, but all A's in 8th, 4's on my reading FCAT and i still got in! Im sure its just a mix up in the mail or something. :) If she does get in, congrats! We cant wait to add her to our IB family and if not, its ok, its not the end of the world. Keep an eye out for other letters from the Crest because she may be on waiting list, though highly unlikely. In any case congrats on surviving Williams! Mrs. Krug, and Mrs. Holder are the true test of an IB student. Good luck on the acceptance and hopefully we'll see her next year!
Acceptance letters and rejection letters in the college application process are typically sent out at different times. Acceptance letters are usually sent out before rejection letters, as colleges first need to review all applications and make decisions on who they will admit before notifying those who were not accepted.
Regular Decision acceptance letters are usually mailed on or before April 1st. Good luck! :)
