Because in the old days, sex was the only power women had over men. And in modern times, most women haven't become adjusted to giving that power up and becoming the "weaker sex" towards men, even though we're supposed to be living in a fair and gender-equal society, in all civilized parts of the world. Men have money and status to wield over most women and are usually judged for their wealth/career and social status and women have attraction and lust (aka sex) to wield over men. It's also why women created the negative terms for sexually loose women, such as the word "slut". A 'slut' weakens women's power over men and potentially threatens their relationship with said man, as well. There's also the risk of pregnancy that men don't have to worry about.
If men created equal does that mean women are created equal?
