Obama attended college for six years. A year at Occidental, then transferred to Columbia for three years to receive his Bachelor's degree. Then, after working as a community-activist for almost six years, he enrolled again at Harvard for just over two years to receive his law degree. (His records while attending Harvard have been sealed at his request.) While it was twelve years between his first enrollment at Occidental and his graduation at Harvard, there was a six year break in between when he did not attend any college.
