Generally some will stay and some will come out. It will depend upon how long you stay lying down after sex. It can also be dependent upon how active you are after sex. The less active, obviously the more likely the semen will stay inside than if you are more active. Going to the bathroom after sex too can cause more of it to stay out.

Semen is a milky liquid that the sperm cells swim around in. They pretty much stay together. If you're trying to get pregnant, don't worry about what drips out. If the timing is right there'll be enough clinging to your insides to knock you up anyhow. If you're trying to avoid pregnancy, don't bother about trying to rinse it out or anything like that.
