It's not technically a duck POND... it's actually the Red Cedar River that flows through campus. The "duck hangout" is actually behind the Hannah Administration Building. In the spring and summer months, you can see students, faculty, MSU staff as well as community members congregating there to feed the ducks. Not so much in the winter, because it is so bitterly cold.
It's almost a rite of passage for students to feed the ducks. If they could, these ducks would wear MSU T-shirts!!!
