Mexico is the Northern most Spanish speaking country in North America. South of Mexico is an area called Central America that consists of:

Guatemala (beneath Mexico)

Belice/Belize (to the right of Guatemala but also touching Mexico's boarders)

Honduras (to the North of El Salvador touching the upper half of Guatemala's boarders)

El Salvador (Small country directly beneath Guatemala and Honduras)

Nicaragua (the Geographic center of Central America)

Costa Rica

Panama.

Beyond Panama lies South America and various Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries. All of which lie south of Mexico.
